It is our belief that the transitioning of a gentle, compassionate and Christian soul evokes a celestial rejoicing. Such is the scenario in the ultimate spiritual flight of our beloved Mrs. Mable Evelyn Bennett Williams of Rapides Station wrapped in time April 11, 2015 only six days following the pivotal spiritual celebration of the Resurrection Sunday.
Mrs. Mable was a graduate of the Mary E. Graham High School of Colfax, this stately practitioner in the death care industry achieved a sterling professional reputation during her one half century of intimate association with the Winnfield Funeral Home of Alexandria, Louisiana wherein she was a source of wise counsel, Christian example and caring assistance for the bereaved families throughout the Central Louisiana Community. Although Catholic in her worship practice, "Mrs. Mable" was ecumenical in her Christian perspective. She was indeed a friend to myriads and will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her mother Doris Williams and father Kerry Bennett, husband Christell Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Sonja E. Williams, one son Bernard J. Williams, both of Rapides Station. One grandson Evan J. Bowden (Jeana), of Arlington, TX.
